Pump Performance Optimization
The aim of pump performance optimization is to get your pump working as efficiently and reliably as possible. In doing so the system will last longer, and your operating costs will be lower too.
How we do this:
- Carry out a pump efficiency analysis and energy assessment to determine potential areas for improvement and provide and estimate of possible energy savings
- Trim impeller design (via affinity laws and simulation) to eliminate over design and accommodate for changes that can make your current pump size unsuitable. Another method we may use are variable frequency drives (VFDs).
- Pipe size optimization and pressure drop assessment
- Possible improvements that may be discussed include advanced control systems, changing the type of pump, or variable frequency drives (VFDs)
